Poor little Wicket is recovering from his surgery, and his vaccines, and his blood tests. I'm giving him lots of love and kisses. The vet addressed a big concern of mine... Wicket is a big baby.
It's not that I spoil him too much even... cause I don't! He is just a big baby. If he hears a scary noise, he starts to cry and hides under the couch. If a big car drives by he screams and runs inside. He won't go on walks, he doesn't like the front yard even. It's a very interesting.
He seems to be scared of just about everything. I've tried several things to "toughen" him up. The vet recommended I get another dog friend to help him learn to be more of a dog rather than a big baby.
So, I'm thinking about looking into getting a rescue dog from the shelter. Someone who is a bit older, who is in need of a loving home and a younger brother.
